Zohaib Khawar

Zohaib Khawar is a Pakistani-American human rights advocate and community leader based in the United States. With deep personal and cultural roots in Pakistan, he is committed to promoting equality, religious freedom, social justice, and the protection of marginalized and minority communities.

Professionally, Zohaib specializes in Cybersecurity Governance. His experience includes supporting organizations serving U.S. federal agencies across Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, where he provides strategic leadership in Cybersecurity risk management, regulatory compliance, and the design of secure, resilient, and accountable information security programs and systems.

Zohaib holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Gujrat, Pakistan, and completed a U.S. Department of State exchange program in Information Systems Management at Thiel College in Pennsylvania. He also served as a cultural ambassador and, through the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network, worked with the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad on cultural exchange and community-engagement initiatives.

As an artist, singer, and writer, Zohaib has a deep appreciation for art and music and believes that creative expression can foster dialogue, preserve cultural heritage, strengthen human connection, and amplify underrepresented voices.

As a Board Member of the Dignity and Rights Foundation for Minorities in Pakistan, Zohaib brings professional expertise, an international perspective, and a strong commitment to advancing equal rights, dignity, and lasting social change.
